About Me

Hi, I’m Thatcher Poindexter, a passionate game designer with a lifelong love for video games and an early drive to create them. My journey into game development began in middle school, where I discovered not only a talent for designing interactive experiences but also a deep enthusiasm for bringing imaginative ideas to life.

During high school, I developed four original games using Roblox Studio, where I gained hands-on experience in level design, scripting, and multiplayer systems. I built and led a global development team, organizing regular meetings and creative brainstorming sessions to guide our projects forward. Together, we tackled complex systems like FPS animations and leaderboard functionality, launching our most ambitious title with over 50 dedicated servers reserved for its debut. We even ran advertising campaigns to drive interest and player engagement.

 

Beyond development, I’ve enjoyed sharing my knowledge by mentoring elementary and middle school students in both Roblox Studio and Scratch, helping them bring their own game ideas to life.

I’m excited to continue pushing the boundaries of interactive design and storytelling—and to build unforgettable experiences for players around the world.
